Commentary:
The adventuring academic has been spending her life in the field uncovering the lost secrets of worlds long gone. Although she is somehwat of a worry-wart, and a little absent minded, she is well prepared to survive the wilds of the jungle. Now she only hopes that those skills help her survive the wilds of the street. Now that she's back in the big city, those social skills she's been building with the tribals will be put to the test. Afterall, there's no difference between a gang and a group of hungry canabals, right? Unfortunately, when the university cut her grants due to activities "outside the realm of normal archeology" she was appaled, but here on the streets they've seen weird things too, and don't make fun of her as much, at least not to her face. A few months of running, that's all it will take to get the funding for that next expedition. In the meantime, she can spend her spare hours writing those three papers and perhaps see if anybody else knows a thing or two about Atlantas while she's at it. Rumors are the shadows know more about the whole topic than acadamia.
